A dynamic magazine that changes appearance every season.

SitesTO is a concept for a guide magazine for newcomers to discover and learn about different events taking place seasonally around Toronto. Since every season reflect changes, different events are also occurring each time. The challenge in this project is reinventing the magazine’s look and appearance each new season. By creating multiple designs with the same entity, I was able to create a magazine concept that is highly dynamic in nature.

New season, new branding and appearance.

SitesTo consists of a magazine and a website to help redirect people from events occurring in each season. My first task here was to create a brand new design that reflect the current issue. I imagined each events occurring and took it as my starting point to design an appropriate logotype, cover art, and other illustrations. Then I consistently carried the designs into their webpage counterparts.

The same magazine, but not the same issue.

With all its changing of appearances, I was able to accommodate and maintain the magazine’s dynamic nature giving new and fresh look for readers in each issue.
